Pastor Jamelle Godlewski
Jamelle began serving at PLUM in November of 2024. Prior to coming to Pleasant Lake, she founded and directed a nonprofit in LaGrange, IN. Her heart is for others, especially those who might be overlooked. She has worked as a Chaplain, an abuse intervention facilitator, a teacher and a campus coordinator for a faith based alternative school. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Purdue University which enabled her to be in the education field for 15 years. She also has a Master of Art in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College. After running a nonprofit for 13 years, she started a leadership and team development consulting firm that helps individuals, nonprofits and churches in a variety of ways, one of which is grant writing. She has been a public speaker in schools, retreats, and workshops for 16 years. Currently she is pursuing a Master of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. One thing about Jamelle, she is down to earth and personable. She has the ability to make scripture come alive and teach how to apply to our own lives.
Jamelle has one daughter, Cali, who will soon be a graduate of Northern Michigan University. She also has two very lovable although sometimes mischievous fur babies, Bella and Molly. She loves to travel, go to concerts, drink good coffee and read. If you can’t find her volunteering somewhere, visiting her daughter or at the church, keep on the lookout as she might be on her bike somewhere or lost while hiking!

We are much more than a church. We are friends. We are family. We strive to allow everyone, at any age, with whatever degree of ability to serve and be involved in whatever way they desire.
We are governed by a church council who oversees the administrative and finances of the church.
